Starkville Utilities’ 2022 Water Quality Report Now Available

Consumer Confidence Report reflects commitment to public health and safety

When it comes to your drinking water, there’s no substitute for confidence. Providing a safe, reliable supply of drinking water is central to Starkville Utilities’ mission and the focus of the newly released 2022 Consumer Confidence Report.

“Having a safe water supply is fundamental to our community’s health and quality of life,” said Sean Johnston, chief water operator. “Through rigorous sampling, monitoring and quality-control processes, we make sure customers always have access to safe, healthy drinking water.”

Last year, Starkville Utilities employees processed and delivered more than 1.838 billion gallons of safe drinking water to customers and earned a perfect score from the Mississippi State Department of Health in its most recent drinking water supply inspection report.
